Prune all shrubs and trees in Feburary, except Azaleas. Azaleas will be pruned in March after they have bloomed.

For Crape Myrtle Pruning you can visit this website for info:   http://www.clemson.edu/extension/hgic/plants/landscape/trees/hgic1009.html

Water all newly planted trees and shrubs at least three times a week, for 15 minutes on each irrigation zone.

For trees it is neccessary to water them in with a hose. Irrigation systems will not provide enough water.

We suggest you test the soil around the base of the plants to check for water needs. This can be done by sticking your finger in the soil to feel for moisture.

If moisture is present the plant does not need water. The biggest mistake made is over watering.
